Hi, I’m Jocelyn Jones, founder of Eyelace LLC. As a model, I understood how essential perfect lashes are for highlighting one’s eyes and face. In my day job as a professor and writing instructor, I wanted to carry that confidence into my everyday life with a natural look I could easily achieve myself. This sparked my pursuit of the perfect lash experience.

Strip lashes were hard to put on and never looked natural due to the heavy makeup required to blend in the strip. Extensions were costly, inconvenient, and badly damaging to my natural lash line over time. Twice I even had to visit an ophthalmologist to remove glue from my eye, once scratching my cornea. And mascara, while convenient, smudged, agitated my skin when removed, and never achieved the wispy, natural look that was achievable with faux lashes.

My obsession with perfect lashes led me to combine my academic research with my passion for natural beauty. I began redesigning lashes and then partnered with manufacturers to perfect my designs. After over two years of refining, Eyelace was born. Our lashes are lightweight, natural-looking, and applied beneath the lash line, avoiding the heavy makeup of strips and the damage of extensions. Eyelace lashes offer seamless beauty that stays put without smudging or running.

Beyond creating the perfect lashes, I wanted the purchase of Eyelace to be an experience where the investment in oneself was also an investment in women worldwide because that is what I believe: when we take care of ourselves, we are in the best position to care for the people and causes we love. We proudly donate a portion of our proceeds to organizations including The Malala Fund, The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Working for Women.

It’s my vision to connect a community of empowered women who are committed to enhancing their natural beauty and advancing themselves professionally and personally while also improving our world.
